Greens Restauarant Bar |
Green's Restaurant & Oyster
Bar in St. James's, London was established 22 years ago by Simon Parker Bowles. It is a quintessentially British restaurant specialising in shellfish, fish, game and other British classics.
The formula is simple; top ingredients, unfussy preparation, and careful presentation with warm and efficient service. Amongst many accolades it was voted Tatler Magazine “Best Traditional Restaurant of the Year” 2002.
The Green's philosophy at events has always been, and will continue to be uncompromising in the quest to come as close as possible to the standards set at the original restaurant. The food almost always comes from the same suppliers as the main restaurant and all dishes are prepared using exactly the same recipes. As the majority of major sporting events are in the summer months cold fish and shellfish are dominant on events menus.

West Mersea oysters, Native lobsters, cold poached salmon, potted shrimps, Paxton & Whitfield cheeses are just some of the dishes normally on offer. When in season ‘specials' such as gull's eggs and English asparagus will be featured.
The standard of service at events is just as important as the quality of the food and painstaking care is taken with the recruitment and training of events staff. Similarly, we always feature a selection of the prints and original artwork from the original restaurant. In short we do everything possible to replicate the Green's experience away from St James's.
